History of Dog Park
In January 0f 2014, my GT math students created an online survey to collect peoples’ opinions concerning the need for having a dog park in Garrett County. Of the people surveyed, 74% supported the idea of having a dog park. Fifty-six percent of these people said they would visit the dog park weekly. The people who participated in the survey were diverse, coming from both the northern and southern parts of the county.

Over the summer we had multiple dog washes around the county to help raise the funds for this project.  On September 27th, 2014 we are having Garrett County's first ever 5K Bark in the Park.  Participants may register early or on race day.  Registration will begin on the 27th at 8:00 with the race starting at 8:45.  The registration and route map can be found below.

Thank you for your support in the development of Garrett County's Dog Park.  We appreciate it greatly!
