Senior Clothing Sales
Clothing Sales:
Senior clothing is now ready to order. Students can order online at https://southern-garrett-seniors.spiritsale.com/ and can choose to have the item(s) delivered to their home or pick up at Tees Me T's store. Deadline to order is December 20th. If students or parents have any questions, they can contact Mrs. Gallagher.
Receiving Senior Class Information:
In an effort to improve communication between the school and families, the high school has created parent email groups. We now have the ability to send out notifications to families based on a whole school format or by grade level. We are striving to send out SGHS news once a week to parent/guardian email addresses. Please direct any questions or email address updates to the main office.
If you are interested in receiving information throughout the school year regarding college and scholarship information, and other important senior related news please make sure you email is updated with the main office.

Baby Pictures: The yearbook staff needs a baby picture from every senior. Pictures can be from the age of 6 months to 5 years old. Pictures can be emailed to Ms. Zumpano at maria.zumpano@garrettcountyschools.org or pictures can be dropped off to Ms. Zumpano at the school. Printed pictures will be returned.
Senior Pictures: Seniors should stop and see Ms. Zumpano to pick out their pictures. The yearbook staff needs a formal and casual pose for the yearbook. The formal pose is also for the hallway composite. Pictures are also used in the senior presentation shown the evening of senior awards.

GRADUATION PICTURES--LifeTouch will be photograph the graduation ceremony. To access the pictures go
https://events.lifetouch.com/ Then sign up by selecting and finding your event.
GRADUATION VIDEO--The graduation ceremony will be video recorded and copies will be available at a cost of $10. Payment should be made at the end of the ceremony at designated areas.
GRADUATION DRESS CODE FOR GRADUATES--Dress code form must be turned in to Ms. Zumpano.
Boys: Dark dress slacks, dark socks and dark dress/casual shoes (no athletic or running shoes, no work boots), shirt and tie, red cap and gown. Dark means—black, brown, or blue.
Girls: Any color dress or skirt/top, white, nude, silver or black dress/casual shoes (no athletic or running shoes, no flip flops). Sandals are allowed but they must secure behind the ankle.
Nothing extra should be hung, pinned or attached in any way to either the cap or gown OTHER THAN academic cords, medals and stoles received at senior or athletic awards.
Do Not decorate the top of your cap.
The cap should be placed on the head so that the mortarboard is level. Caps are never worn on the back of the head tilted upward. The front of the cap is indicated on the inside of the crown. The tassel is worn on the right side of the mortarboard. After the diplomas have been awarded and at the rehearsed signal, the tassels will be shifted to the left side of the cap. WRITE YOUR NAME IN YOUR CAP!

ARRIVAL TIME--Seniors should arrive at the CARC by 12:30am. Sign in with Guidance Counselors. Make sure you have followed dress code as outlined in your graduation handbook and discussed in the senior meeting in April. Dress code information is also listed above. Have your picture taken in your cap/gown.
