Newspaper-The Acorn

The Acorn Student Newspaper, Ram Gazette Parent Newsletter, Senior Edition, The Ram Page Literary Magazine are all created by the Newspaper staff.

 

Senior Edition
The 2017 Senior Edition is available for pick up in Ms.Savage's room. Seniors of the Class of 2017 ordered these last spring. There is a limited number of additional copies available for sale for $20. Contact Ms. Savage for more information on the senior edition.


Senior surveys for the current  senior edition are due to Mrs. Savage by ???.  Results from the survey will appear in the 2018 Senior Edition which will go on sale in the spring.  If you have any questions about the senior wills, please see Ms. Savage for help 

 
 

 

Literary Magazine
 
Are you an aspiring artist? a secret poet? or a developing photographer?  This is your chance to have your work recognized.  The Acorn staff is looking for original student artwork, photography and writing for the upcoming school literary magazine to be published in the spring.  Please see Mrs. Savage in room 1231 if you are interested or if you have any questions.  

 


2010 Acorn named Marylander Award Winner
The 2010 newspaper staff has been recognized by the Maryland Scholastic Press Association. The newspaper entered the publications contest for 2010 and received the highest honor a newspaper could receive in their division. The paper also received a gold rating for the fifth year in a row.
