Northern High School students and GCASC officers Annie Fratz and Alexis Bagley attended the Saturday, November 15th Fall Leadership Conference held at Huntingtown HS.  Annie and Alexis joined a delegation from Allegany County along with advisors MIchelle Harman, Tammy Twigg, and Kara Kennell.  The day long conference included a morning registration and refreshments, orientation, guest speakers for the state charity, various workshops, and a General Assembly meeting that focused on constitutional changes that needed to be discussed and voted upon by the voting delegates present at the General Assembly.
Below students participate in workshops to explore leadership skills and student government operations.
Annie and Alexis participated in workshops entitled Group Dynamics, Dealing with Adults Effectively, and Planning a School-wide Event. Students from across the state attended the conference and Garrett and Allegany delegates had the opportunity to network with over 400 other students as well as advisors.  Annie is currently our county Student Member on the Board of Education as well as NHS SGA President and GCASC President.  Alexis currently serves as the GCASC Secretary.
Below Alexis and Annie join presenters Devan Ogburn (past MASC President), Jeremy Price, and Natalie Singer.
