Administrative Procedure

Breaking and entering of buildings may involve acts of vandalism and/or theft. In order to ensure that all parties are notified relative to the breaking and entering of school buildings, the below procedures are to be followed:

    1. The building principal or his designee should make an inspection of the premises.
    2. Notify police of the incident, providing details, requesting investigation, and a follow-up report.
    3. Notify the Supervisor of Maintenance and Operations via telephone. Forward a completed Incident Form to the Supervisor of Maintenance and Operations describing
        the details of the incident within four (4) work days.
    4. All reports regarding such incidents will be reviewed by the Supervisor of Maintenance and Operations for follow-up with the police, insurance companies, and the
        maintenance and operations staff.
    5. All such reports will be filed with the Supervisor of Maintenance and Operations on an annual basis.
