Technical Help for Virtual Learning is Available

Last Updated on Sep 14, 2020 at 7:27am | Public Information Office

Last week, GCPS students returned to learning through a series of orientations at each school. We started slowly with lessons that students completed virtually. Starting Monday, September 14, all teachers will be providing instruction virtually. Selected students who will return to in-person learning and those learning at home will all be using our new learning platform, Schoology. Teachers and students alike will be using the Internet to complete their work. Superintendent Barbara Baker stated, “Our Information Technology department has been working almost around the clock to ensure that teachers and students have the tools they need to attain success with virtual learning. There may be unforeseen issues that arise as teachers and students learn our new platform. Additionally, there may be issues with Internet services. We ask for your patience and will provide assistance to those who need it.”
