Last Updated on Aug 6, 2020 at 7:35am | Public Information Office

GCPS is pleased to announce that our JumpStart 20-21 summer program is now in full swing. JumpStart 20-21 is a regional, countywide program offered to students entering grades kindergarten through eighth grade, with one location at Grantsville Elementary and one at Broad Ford Elementary. The program was designed as an invitation only program focused on providing additional literacy and mathematics instruction, as well as social emotional learning to identified students, in preparation for the upcoming school year. There are currently 91 students attending our JumpStart 20-21 summer program! Attendance is completely voluntary during both weeks of the program. This program is funded entirely with the federal CARES Act Coronavirus Relief Funds tutoring grant. The federal grant includes funding for transportation and all staff.
