GCPS Announces Enrollment Pre-Registration

Last Updated on Jul 14, 2021 at 10:32am | Public Information Office

Garrett County Public Schools (GCPS) is now enrolling new students who are returning from parent home instruction or those who are attending this year from another school system. We are also enrolling students entering pre-kindergarten and kindergarten for the first time. Parents or guardians can begin this process by completing the new enrollment interest form found on the main page of the GCPS website. Upon completion, a staff member from GCPS will be in contact with parents or guardians to discuss the formal process for enrollment in school. Completion of the form will not enroll the student in school but rather will begin the process of registration for the 2021-22 school year. To speak with someone directly, please call the Office of Student Services at 301-334-8926.

Please note, students who remained in the virtual learning model last spring do NOT need to complete this pre-registration. Those students, along with all students who returned to in-person learning in March, are still enrolled in the school system.

GCPS has made available a new enrollment interest form for easy access.
