On February 22nd, students from Garrett County were able to connect with students throughout Maryland during Digital Learning Day. These students participated in a Maker Project in which they were given specific supplies and asked to design and construct catapults. During the design process, the students were able to collaborate with students across the state through the use of video conferencing. After the catapults were constructed, the students collected data related to distance, power, and accuracy.
