School Messenger Signup for Community Members

If you do not have a student currently enrolled in the Garrett County Public School system, you can still sign up for school-related announcements such as school closings and delays. You can sign up to receive phone calls, text messages or emails. You may sign up for more than one option, but that is not required.

If you are a parent of child already in GCPS, you are automatically registered for School Messenger. You can update your School Messenger contact information through your PowerSchool Parent Portal.
