The GCPS central office will be closed to the public until further notice. Anyone with a question or concern may contact public.info@garrettcountyschools.org, and you will receive a response.

There have been 133 confirmed cases of Coronavirus in Garrett County.

The Office of Special Programs

The Garrett County Public Schools Office of Special Programs oversees and is responsible for the the following programs, their development, and provided services throughout the district:
  • Gifted & Talented
  • English Language Learners
  • Section 504 Services
MISSION STATEMENT
Garrett County Public Schools Office of Special Program extends our county’s mission by maximizing the potential of the learner in each of our three service areas by providing programs and services to match their unique characteristics and aid in their instructional needs.
 
VISION STATEMENT
Garrett County Public Schools will assure that students within our special programs will grow socially, emotionally, and academically to become well-adjusted, contributing members of society.
