The Garrett County Board of Education voted on January 12, 2021, to accept the Superintendent’s recommendation to remain in the “red model” in which students are learning virtually. Students will begin transitioning back to in-person learning when the Garrett County metrics are at 5% or less positivity rate and 15 or less per 100,000 for 14 consecutive days.

There have been 1,759 confirmed cases of Coronavirus in Garrett County. Current metrics from the Garrett County Health Department are: 7-Day Positivity Percentage: 10.71%; 7-Day Case Rate Per 100,000: 21.17.

Procedure for Requesting a Transcript

By using the link below, a transcript request form will automatically be sent to Northern High School Counseling Center.  

**Please note: Transcripts are available after 2 business days. They can be picked up at Northern High School's Counseling Center, 86 Pride Parkway, Accident, MD 21520 between 8:00am and 4:00pm Monday-Friday.**

There is a $1.00 charge for the transcript which can be mailed to Mrs. Ahern at NHS or if the person requesting the transcript knows someone that attends NHS, they can drop it off to Mrs. Ahern in the Counseling Center.
