National Federation of State High School Associations My Reason Why

Two sports are better than one
Students whoparticipate in multiplehigh school sports oftenbecome more well-rounded adults. In fact, participating in multiple sports helps students become better at their preferred sport and reduces the potential for burnout. Also, studies show that multiple-sport participants have fewer injuries than those students who focus on the same sport all year.
