Last Updated on Apr 14, 2021 at 1:03pm

The proposed new middle school English/Language Arts (ELA) and high school Social Studies curriculum materials and resources are available for review by the general public. Study Sync is the ELA materials recommended for grades 6-8 in middle schools. Building Citizenship: Civics and Economics, US History Interactive High School Reconstruction to the Present, and World History and Geography: Modern Times are recommended for the high school grades in Social Studies. The recommended materials build knowledge and skills through integrated reading, writing, speaking, listening, and language. The instructional materials meet expectations for use and design, teacher planning, learning of the standards for students, and professional learning support for teachers.
Members of the community are welcome to review and comment on the proposed curriculum for ELA and Social Studies. The materials will be available for review through May 7, 2021, at both middle and high schools, the Central Office, as well as online.
