Northern High School's Music Department Acquires an Equipment Trailer

Last Updated on Apr 10, 2019 at 3:43pm

The new equipment trailer, which has been needed for some time by the music department at Northern High School, has now arrived. A special thank you goes to the Community Trust Foundation for the grant to purchase the trailer; to Kerry Murray-Ballon, who designed the graphic package displayed on the trailer; and to Murray Signs of Grantsville for preparing the trailer. A thank you also goes to the Northern High Music Boosters for working through the grant process and for all the support given to the music students, and to the Wendell Teet's Foundation, which was instrumental in acquiring this needed piece of equipment.
The music department would also like to thank Guy Wayne Hardesty of Hardesty's True Value and Trailer Sales. He helped with the selection, the purchase, and the accessories of the trailer. He also stored the trailer over the winter until it could be painted.
The new trailer will make its maiden voyage with the Music Department on Friday, April 12, 2019. The band, color guard and chorus will be traveling to Courtland High School and King's Dominion Theme Park to compete in the "Music in the Parks Festival" on April 13.
