Cheyenne Biser National Champion at SkillsUSA

Cheyenne Biser, 2018 senior graduate of Southern Garrett High School, along with her teacher/advisor, Brenda Strosnider, Allied Health and Biomedical Instructor, recently traveled to Louisville, Kentucky, for a week to compete at the SkillsUSA National Championships. More than 6,400 career and technical education students – all state contest first place winners – competed against the clock and each other, proving different trade, technical and leadership fields. Garrett County Public Schools is proud to announce that Cheyenne took home the gold medal for First Aid/CPR at the awards ceremony on Friday night! What an honor to place first in the nation – so proud of her accomplishments!
