Proposed Health Curriculum Video for Review

The proposed new health curriculum video for 7th grade students is available for review by the public. The video is entitled “Understanding HIV/AIDS: Learn the Facts, Fight the Stigma, Stay Safe” is by Redefine Positive (http://www.redefinepositive.com). The video is recommended for inclusion in the 7th grade health curriculum in Garrett County Public Schools (GCPS). The video is available for review at the GCPS Central Office beginning May 9, 2018, through June 8, 2018, on the first floor, before the Board’s vote to adopt the video at its June 12, 2018, Board meeting.
 
Feedback forms are available for parents and staff to complete after reviewing the video at the Central Office. Please feel free to provide input via the feedback form or email comments to: public.info@garrettcountyschools.org.
