Ms. Barbara Baker, Superintendent of Garrett County Public Schools, plans to seek feedback and concerns from parents and the community regarding school safety.
Ms. Baker and a team of administrators will be attending a Statewide Safety Summit later this month. She would like to meet with parents and community members following the summit to gather concerns and feedback regarding school safety as the main point of the public sessions. During the sessions, the Superintendent is open to receive feedback on other school related issues and topics, as well.
All sessions are open to the public and intended for parents and community members to provide honest and open feedback to the Superintendent. Sessions will take place in four of the schools. Parents and community members are encouraged to attend the session that best meets their needs. You do not have to have a child in school to attend. Below is the schedule:

Grantsville Elementary School 1:00 - 2:30 p.m.
Northern Middle School 6:00 - 8:00 p.m.
Thursday, April 26, 2018
Broad Ford Elementary School 1:00 - 2:30 p.m.
Southern Garrett High School 6:00 - 8:00 p.m.
