A proposed maturation education video, Always Changing and Growing Up, is available for review by the general public on the first floor of the Central Office. The puberty education video was recommended by the Health Advisory Committee.
The Proctor and Gamble video aligns with the 5th grade health curriculum on gender maturation education for students. There is one lesson for boys and one for girls and taught separately. The topics of the video are: growth spurts, changes that occur as boys and girls develop, hygiene habits, nutrition, exercise, and peer pressure.
Members of the community are welcome to review and comment on this video. The video will be available for review weekdays between 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM and until noon on April 3, 2017. Please feel free to provide comments regarding the video on the comment sheets provided.
