An Open House Ceremony was held at Broad Ford Elementary School on Thursday, August 21, in celebration of the completion of the new modular addition. The ceremony was held in the school’s cafeteria.

Mrs. Dawna Ashby, Broad Ford School Principal, welcomed everyone in attendance. Mrs. Charlotte Sebold, Board member, welcomed teachers, students, and everyone in the audience to the new school year. Dr. Janet Wilson, Superintendent, addressed the audience praising the accomplishment of the modular addition.

Present at the ceremony were Broad Ford Elementary School staff, central office staff, Board of Education members, students, parents, school advisory committee members, and the general public. All were invited to take a tour of the facility.

The modular addition features eight additional classroom spaces and restrooms. There is a connecting vestibule to provide an enclosed area from the modular to the school due to cold and inclement weather.
