In recognition of Maryland School Psychology Awareness Week, to be observed November 10 - 14, 2014, Garrett County Public Schools would like to express appreciation for the many school psychological services provided for our students, their families, and school staff. The work of school psychologists contributes to the development of high quality programs for students with special needs through psychological evaluations, the assessment and development of individual behavior plans, individual and group counseling and intervention, and consultation with teachers and school staff.  Their work with programs such as the Positive Behavior Intervention and Support, STAR, CPA and the intervention programs assists in meeting many student needs. These exemplary services help us to meet the goals of Special Education and Comprehensive Pupil Services programs.

With sincere appreciation, please join in the recognition of Maryland School Psychology Awareness Week.
