Two Southern Garrett High School students were chosen as the RAM (Random Acts of Maturity) Students of the Month for September and October.

September's RAM student, Michael Clapper, was chosen for the COURAGE he displays in his daily life. Clapper is going to appear in his first play this weekend in the school's production of 9 to 5. "Michael is a talented actor with a terrific memory. Last year, he told me he was not sure he wanted to perform in front of people, but Michael has faced his fears and is now part of the cast of 9 to 5," theatre teacher Erin White said.

Jaslyn Tasker was chosen as the October RAM student because she is TOLERANT of others and patient when working with all of her team members on the Unified Tennis Team.  "She has shown great character in helping others and working together with everyone," Coach Nan Gangler said. "She and her partner, Zack Smith, made a wonderful team.
The RAM students were awarded $25 gift cards to Uno’s Restaurant and Grill, the sponsor of the RAM Student of the Month program.
