Weather Related School Alert: All Garrett County Public Schools will be closed tomorrow, Wednesday, February 20, 2019, because of the predicted inclement weather that includes possible heavy snowfall and ice accumulation. Code Orange and liberal leave in effect for employees. Administrative offices will open at 10:00 AM. Should a change in code status for employees be necessary, the announcement will be made by 8:00 AM.

Scholarship Information for the Graduating Class of 2014

With the graduation ceremonies concluded for Garrett County, information has been provided by the high schools concerning the collection of scholarship information for those graduates.
There were 307 students in the graduating class of 2014. 
The total amount of scholarships (merit, athletic, senatorial, etc.) offered to the 2014 graduates in the county was $1,997,027. 
A total of 119 graduates was offered at least one scholarship.
One student was accepted to an Ivy League School (Brown, Columbia, Cornell, Dartmouth, Harvard, University of Pennsylvania, Princeton, or Yale).
