Student Learning Adventures 2014-2015

Kindergarten and first grade students rode the train from Cumberland to Frostburg. They enjoyed watching the train enter and leave the stations and watching the view from the window as the train moved along the tracks!

Fifth grade students went to Mt. Nebo to learn how to band birds. Under the guidance of Dr. and Mrs. Pope and Ms. Skipper, the students observed the delicate act of taking the birds from net, how to collect data on each bird, and the joy of holding a bird in the palm of your hand!
