Career and Technology Education

Industrial Electronics I

Industrial Electronics I is a lab based introductory class covering such topics as: safety, basic DC circuits, RCL circuits and resonance, introduction to semiconductors, DC and AC test equipment and VICA (Vocational Industrial Clubs of America).

Industrial Electronics II

Industrial Electronics II is a continuation of the lab based Industrial Electronics I. Topics include introduction to semiconductor devices, power supplies, semiconductor circuits, amplifier circuits, oscillators, semiconductor circuit analysis, RF amplifiers, test equipment (oscilloscope and function generators) and related labs, including circuit fabrication and soldering techniques.

Industrial Electronics III

Industrial Electronics III instructs students in the radio transmissions principles, digital techniques, microprocessor, motor control, lasers and fiber optics and troubleshooting principles and techniques. Students will be expected to complete a senior project during this year.
