This is Mrs. Davis's 22nd year in education and fourth year at Broad Ford Elementary School. She spent 9 years in the elementary school setting, 1 year as a special education teacher and 10 years as a counselor at Southern High School. She is a West Virginia University graduate (Go Mountaineers!) with degrees in elementary school teaching and counseling. With two sons involved in basketball, on different teams, she happily spends lots of time on the bleachers. She also enjoys taking long walks, playing games and reading. She feels very blessed to be back at the elementary level, but finds it a a bit difficult to accept that her former SH students are now parents of many of our students. Can she be that old?

Sherry Farrell is in her 9th year as a registered nurse, and her 4th year as the school nurse at Broad Ford Elementary School. She started her nursing career for the first 2 years on the Progressive Care Unit at the Western Maryland Health System, which is a cardiac/stroke floor. Then, for the next 3 years she worked at Garrett Regional Medical Center between the Operating Room (for over 2 years) and the OB unit. She has worked as a per diem nurse with home health, and between the Med/Surg and ICU floors at GRMC to keep up on her acute care skills. Sherry is a nursing school graduate from Allegany College of Maryland, but prior to that received her Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Finance from Frostburg State University. Sherry resides in Oakland with her husband and 2 daughters. She loves that this position allows her to be available to make it to the year round extra-curricular activities her daughters are involved in, that she works where (eventually) both daughters will go to school, and for being able to take care of all the amazing students we have here at Broad Ford!
