Mrs. Bingham was born and raised in Greensburg, Pennsylvania, where most of her family still resides. She graduated from Seton Hill University where she majored in Sociology and Elementary Education. She moved to Charles County Maryland after graduating and taught 8th grade Social Studies at John Hanson Middle School for 10 years, 10th grade US History, 11th grade World History, Political Studies, and African American Studies at La Plata High School for 9 years, and Social Studies Grades 9-12 at the Virtual Academy for 4 years before moving to Oakland. This is her second year teaching 5th grade at Broad Ford. She received her Masters in Curriculum and Instruction from McDaniel College in Westminster, Md. She is so excited to be here with you! Family is very important to her, which was her main reason for moving to Oakland. She lives with her husband and their two German Shepherds, Cash and Katie. In her spare time, she loves to cook, garden, kayak, take long walks and enjoy time with her family.
Mrs. Ross was born and raised in Oakland, Maryland. She obtained her Bachelor of Science in Liberal Studies with a minor in Sociology from Frostburg State University. She later obtained her Bachelor of Arts in Elementary Education from WGU. She previously taught first grade before moving to fifth grade this year. She lives with her husband Andy, and 2 daughters Isabella- 15 and Brooklyn-11. They keep her very busy with soccer and volleyball. She loves being a mom, being active outdoors, Disney and the beach!
