My name is Allison Decker and I am very excited to be a part of the GCPS community. I moved to the Western Maryland area in 2020, and I am thrilled to be teaching First Grade at Broad Ford Elementary. I graduated from Frostburg State University with my Bachelor's in Early Childhood/Elementary Education. In my free time, I enjoy exploring the outdoors and spending time with friends and family.

Stephen Michael

My name is Stephen Michael.
I graduated in 2021 from Frostburg State University with a Master's Degree in Teaching.
I am originally from Keyser, West Virginia and graduated from Keyser High School.
After that, I attended West Virginia University and graduated from there with a BFA in Visual Art in 1998.
In the years since graduating from West Virginia University, I spent over a decade co-owning and operating a successful restaurant, had a flourishing career in sales, and delivered mail for the United States Postal Service.
I am also the father of two amazing children and enjoy traveling with them.
My hobbies also include running, hiking, cooking, the outdoors, playing music, collecting records, and going to thrift stores.
I also am a huge Star Wars fan!
I am very proud to be a part of the first grade team at Broad Ford Elementary.
