Accident Elementary Pre-K Supply List
***Please label the following items with your child’s first and last name.***
Backpack
Lunch bag/box (for students who will pack a lunch each day)
Rest mat or blanket/pillow
1 soft-sided pencil pouch
12 or 18 count washable watercolor paints
2 boxes of crayons
1 spiral bound 8.5x11 inch sketchbook
One set of extra clothes in a gallon Ziploc bag (for accidents and spills)
Shirt
Shorts/pants
Underwear
Socks
(plan on replacing these when your child has used them and rotating them out with the changing seasons)

Welcome to Kindergarten! I am looking forward to working with your family this year. Here is a list of the supplies your child will need to start the year.
Please be sure to put your child’s first and last name on the following items:
* Extra clothes in a Ziploc bag (shirt, shorts, socks, underwear)
* Headphones (ear muff style)
* Backpack (without wheels and large enough to hold a binder)
* 1 plastic pencil box
* 1 pack of 8 watercolor paints
* 1 pack of Crayola washable markers
* 1 coloring book
* 1 pack of 12 colored pencils
* 4 packs of 24 Crayola crayons (1 for the beginning of each marking period)
* 8 Elmer’s glue sticks
* 1 Box of tissues
* 1 container Clorox/Lysol wipes (If you can find them!)

* 2 packs of 24 crayons (1 pack for the beginning of the year, 1 pack for mid-year).
* Girls – 1 box of quart size Ziplock baggies
* Boys – 1 box of gallon size Ziplock baggies
**Due to current circumstances, we understand that the following supplies are limited in stores. These supplies are optional:
1 container of disinfectant wipes
1 bottle of hand sanitizer

**We quickly go through cardstock when making word rings. If you are able to donate cardstock (any color), we would greatly appreciate it!

Mrs. Shawley’s First Grade: SUPPLY LIST?
* Items may be used as long as they are in good shape.*
* 1 hard plastic pencil box
* 1 fabric pencil pouch with zipper
(the 10”x7” ones for around $1.00 at Walmart are perfect for our needs)
* 3 boxes of 24 crayons OR 2 packages of twistable
crayons (Crayola seem to be the best)
* 6 low odor dry erase markers (blue or black please)
* 12 pencils (pre-sharpened preferred) AND a handheld pencil sharpener, OR 6 lead pencils Paper Mate 1.3mm lead pencils are perfect for first graders and last a very long time.
* 1 composition notebook?
* 2 large pink erasers?
* 6 glue sticks??
* 1 pair of scissors?
* 1 black sharpie marker?
* 1 plastic folder with prongs and pockets
* 1 sturdy one-inch binder (used for daily communication, so please get something durable)
BOYS: 1 box of tissues
GIRLS: 1 box of gallon sized Ziploc bags
OPTIONAL, but very much appreciated: Clorox Wipes / Germex
Please mark all supplies with your child’s name and put the following in your child’s pencil box: 1 box of crayons, 1 dry erase marker, 2 pencils, 1 glue stick, 1 pair of scissors?* Please put all extra materials (that will fit) in a gallon Ziploc bag labeled with your child’s name. The extra supplies will be distributed to your child as needed. Thank you!
Please search on Facebook for our closed classroom Facebook group: Mrs.Shawley’s First Grade Class 2020-2021 and request to join. You will be asked to supply the name of your child so I can limit the group to parents / grandparents / close family members of students in our classroom. This is a valuable communication tool and will give you a chance to get to see our first grade adventures.

2nd grade School Supply List: 2020-2021
Due to COVID-19 safety precautions, we will not be sharing supplies. We would like our students to bring the following school supplies twice during the year: in August and January. These supplies will be passed out as necessary.
12 regular pencils (pre-sharpened pencils are great!)
6 glue sticks
24 count twistable crayons
Tissues
Red plastic folder (no prongs)
Personal folder (no prongs)
The following items are what your child should always have available.
Rectangular plastic pencil box that remains closed (preferably 5” X 8” - no zipper pouches or pencil boxes with keys/locks)
2 sharpened pencils with erasers (available at all times)
Scissors
4 pack multi-colored highlighters
3 dry erase markers
1 set of headphones/earbuds
Additional Items:
Scholastic News subscription: send $5.95 cash in an envelope labeled with your child’s name
Optional - disinfecting wipes and/or hand sanitizer

The following is a list of supplies that you will need for 3rd grade:
Crayola crayons or colored pencils- no more than 24
3-hole punched zipper pencil pouch (no key-lock boxes)
1 package of wide-ruled notebook paper
Pack of highlighters (needs to contain blue, pink, purple, green, & yellow)
Scissors
Dry Erase Markers- 4 pack
1-2 Pack Post-It Notes
2 pocket folders (plastic)
6 small glue sticks
2 red checking pens
1 large pink pearl eraser
1 white ‘clear view’ 3- Ring Binder (1.5 inch)
3 spiral notebooks (single subject)
Index Cards (needs to contain blue, pink, purple, green, & yellow)
1-2 packs of 24 pencils (yellow please, as others tend to destroy our sharpeners)
2 Boxes of Tissues
Lysol or Clorox disinfecting wipes (**optional but appreciated**)
1 large bottle of hand sanitizer for classroom use (**optional but appreciated**)
Headphones (for new students, or students that need replacements)

* mechanical pencils or colorful pencils (optional, and not to be shared)

* small pencil sharpener (not electric)
* a pencil bag
* 1 - 3 ring binder (1.5 or 2 inch size)
* 1 - 2 pocket plastic file folder with holes that will fit inside the binder

* 1 pack 3x5 white index cards
* 1 spiral notebook

* 1 pkg. set of 4 dry erase markers
* a pencil BAG, NOT box
* 1 dozen yellow pencils
* 1 pack mechanical pencils
* highlighter
* scissors
* 3 glue sticks
*1 pack checking pens - any color other than black
* crayola markers – set of 8 (optional)
* 1 plastic folder with inside pockets and holes that will fit inside the binder
* 3 folders with inside pockets
* one - 3 ring binder (2 inch size ONLY) with a clear, plastic cover that will hold a
sheet of paper as an insert. NO TRAPPER KEEPER BINDERS!
* 1 package wide-ruled paper
* 4 composition notebooks
* 1 box of Kleenex (optional)
* 2 containers of Clorox wipes (optional)
